These SMS Terms & Conditions ("SMS Terms") govern your participation in the Hibox for Nonprofits SMS messaging program (the "Program"). By providing your mobile phone number and checking the SMS consent box during registration (or otherwise opting in via account settings), you expressly consent to receive recurring text messages from Hibox at the number you provided, in accordance with these SMS Terms, our Terms of Service, and our Privacy Policy.
We do not share your phone number, mobile information, or SMS opt-in consent with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

- Sender brand: Hibox for Nonprofits.
- Sending number: a verified Twilio toll-free number registered to Hibox for Nonprofits.
- Service provider: Twilio Inc. acts as our SMS gateway for delivery to wireless carriers.

2. Consent & Opt-In
You may opt in to the Program by:
- Checking the SMS consent box during account registration at https://nonprofit.hibox.co/register.
- Enabling SMS notifications from your account settings after sign-in.
- Replying START to any message previously stopped, where applicable.
We retain a record of your opt-in including the timestamp, IP address, and user agent at the moment you provided consent. Consent to receive SMS is not a condition of any purchase from Hibox; you may use the non-SMS portions of the Services without opting in to SMS, although certain features (such as 2FA via SMS) require it.
3. Types of Messages
By opting in, you may receive any of the following message categories:

- "Hibox: Reminder — board meeting tomorrow at 6 PM. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out."
4. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your account activity and the notifications you have configured. Most users receive approximately 2–10 messages per month under normal use, with higher volume during periods that include deadlines, expirations, board cycles, or scheduled events.
5. Message & Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. Standard messaging rates from your wireless carrier apply to all messages sent and received through the Program. Hibox does not charge a fee to participate in the Program; however, your carrier's standard message and data rates apply. Please contact your wireless provider for details about your text-messaging plan.
6. How to Opt Out (STOP)
You may cancel SMS service at any time. To opt out, reply STOP to any message you receive from us. Other opt-out keywords that we honor include END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, and QUIT.
After you send STOP (or another opt-out keyword), we will send a single confirmation message acknowledging your opt-out, and you will no longer receive SMS messages from us through the Program. We will record an opt-out timestamp on your account.
If you change your mind, you can rejoin the Program at any time by re-enabling SMS notifications in your account settings or replying START to a previous message.
7. How to Get Help (HELP)
For help with the Program, reply HELP to any message you receive from us, or contact us at:
- Email: [email protected]
- Website: nonprofit.hibox.co
8. Supported Carriers
The Program is supported on all major U.S. wireless carriers and most regional carriers, including but not limited to: AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, Sprint, Boost Mobile, U.S. Cellular, MetroPCS, Cricket, Virgin Mobile, Google Fi, and others.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. T-Mobile is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
9. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and the account holder or authorized user of the mobile phone number you provide. By opting in, you represent and warrant that (a) you meet these eligibility requirements; (b) you are the subscriber of the wireless number provided or have authority from the subscriber to enroll the number; and (c) you will notify Hibox if you relinquish the number.
10. If You Change or Relinquish Your Number
If you change, deactivate, or transfer your mobile phone number, you must promptly update your account or opt out so that messages intended for you are not sent to a subsequent subscriber. You agree to indemnify Hibox against any claims by a subsequent subscriber if you fail to do so.
11. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Information collected through the Program is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We will never share your phone number or SMS opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Phone numbers and SMS opt-in consent are categorically excluded from any third-party data sharing for marketing.
12. Disclaimer
Delivery of messages through the Program is subject to the effective transmission from your wireless service provider and is outside of our control.
